Dorian is an English, ICT & Thinking Skills teacher at Roedean School (SA). He is a PhD candidate at the University of the Witwatersrand, researching the professional practices of the teachers of coding. Dorian has taught English, History and Computer Studies at inner city schools before joining Roedean. His first teaching job was in a People’s Education Project school in Durban which worked on piloting a new curriculum for a democratic South Africa back in the early 1990s. He is passionate about education and exploring innovative ways to transform the curriculum, experimenting with Gamification and Flipped Learning models.
